Donations

We are Mohave County’s only open-admissions shelter, taking in over 4,000 lost, homeless, and abandoned pets every year. Thanks to the generosity of our community, Mohave County Animal Shelter (MCAS) saves more than 95% of the pets that enter our shelter. Your donations go directly to saving more lives and provide critical support to the pets who need it the most. Orphaned puppies and kittens, senior and geriatric pets that have been surrendered and pets that are recovering from illness or injury are just some of the pets that benefit from your donations.

Donate to the Friends of Mohave County Animal Shelter, our non-profit partner group who provide care above-and-beyond what the shelter can provide. Their programs help save our most vulnerable pets. You can also use Chewy Wish List to donate.

If you’d like to donate directly to MCAS, please call us at 928-753-2727 to set up a donation.

You can also make a tax-deductible donation to the Mohave County Animal Shelter via mail by sending a check to our Kingman office location.

Our tax ID number is 86-6000539.

You can also donate new or gently used items by bringing them to MCAS between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and depositing them in our donation bin located in front of the shelter.
