Live Release Rates

The Asilomar Live Release Rate provides insight into a shelter’s outcome-related activity. All 501C3 Humane Organizations are required to post their Asilomar Accords yearly to be accountable to the public concerning the actual outcomes of the animals in their care. Although as a municipality we are not required to do so, this data helps provide transparency and perception for the public and our grant-related activities.
