Marianne Salem

Marianne Salem currently serves as the District Manager for Mohave County District 1 Supervisor, Travis Lingenfelter.

Marianne has proudly called Kingman, Arizona, her home since 2007 and began her career with Mohave County in 2008.

With extensive experience from her roles at the Mohave County Sheriff's Office, Juvenile Drug Court, and Public Defender's Office, Marianne increased her diverse skillset and began her impactful work with the Mohave County Board of Supervisors in 2013.

Marianne was elected to the Mohave County Fairgrounds Board of Directors from 2016 to 2019, and served on the Mohave County Board of Health from 2015 to 2021.

She takes great pride in her involvement in organizing the Mohave County Human Trafficking and Domestic Violence Coalition, a significant achievement that she is grateful for that contributes to helping the communities in Mohave County.

Marianne holds several certifications, including:

In addition to her professional work, Marianne is active at local, state, and national levels in her spare time, representing Mohave County as a State and National Committeeman.

She considers her service to others as a privilege and appreciates continuing her contributions as part of the District 1 Team with Mohave County Supervisor Travis Lingenfelter.

Travis Lingenfelter is the elected County Supervisor for District 1 in Mohave County, serving since January 2021. He holds both a Bachelor of Science degree in American Political Studies from Northern Arizona University (Flagstaff, AZ), and a Master of Public Administration degree from Norwich University (Northfield, VT). Travis has an extensive professional background and track record of roles in the public, non-profit, and public sectors.  In his public service, he has held roles as a Trustee on the Mohave Community College Board of Governors, Kingman City Councilor, and Kingman Vice-Mayor. He has spearheaded numerous important regional economic development and infrastructure development projects—including attracting businesses like ISCO Industries, JM Eagle, and Topock Resort to Mohave County; placing the Kingman Airport and Kingman Industrial Park under City of Kingman operation; securing areawide buildout of state-of-the-art fiber broadband within the Kingman and surrounding areas; advancing the Rancho Santa Fe Transportation Interchange, MCC Advanced Manufacturing Training Center, and other important projects; and developing critical water infrastructure projects within Mohave County communities. His professional efforts have earned him national recognition for innovation in economic development and in public procurement.  Supervisor Lingenfelter also leads on all Mohave County water-related advocacy matters and participates on the Mohave County Workforce Development Board. He is also a current member of the Arizona Association for Economic Development (AAED). In addition to public service, he owns and operates The Right C®, a national vitamin supplement company, and he enjoys all forms of outdoor recreation, traveling, and spending quality time with his children.
