Hello! My name is Marianne Salem and I look forward to working as the assistant to the Mohave County
District 1 Supervisor, Travis Lingenfelter.
 

I moved to Kingman in 2007 and started my career with Mohave County in 2008.
My previous work was with the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office, Juvenile Drug Court,
the Public Defender’s Office, and the Board of Supervisors.
My most recent position was assistant to the District 4 Supervisor from 2013 – 2021.   


I served on the Mohave County Fairgrounds Board of Directors from 2016 – 2019 and the Mohave County
Board of Health from 2015 -2021.

I was elected Vice President for the Kingman Republican Women in 2018 and elected as President for the
Kingman Republican Women in 2019.
 

I currently serve as Chairman on the Mohave County Human Trafficking/Domestic Violence Coalition. 
I also serve on the Mohave County Republican Party District 1 Advisory Committee and the Mohave County
Republican Party Conduct Committee.

In my spare time I enjoy camping, off-road riding, and gardening. My husband and I are greeted almost daily by the wildlife in the Hualapai Mountains where we live.

I love what Mohave County has to offer and to be able to call Kingman my home. I look forward to working with District 1 Supervisor Travis Lingenfelter to achieve his vision for the future of Mohave County.

Travis Lingenfelter, was elected as County Supervisor for District 1 in 2020 and will continue in office until December 31, 2024.

Travis was born in Des Moines, IA. He attended school in Kingman, AZ, and graduated from Kingman High School in 1994. Travis graduated with a Bachelor of Science in American Political Studies from Northern Arizona University in 2000, and with a Master of Public Administration from Norwich University in 2010.

Travis served as District 4 Trustee on the Mohave Community College District Governing Board from 2010-2014; as a Councilman for the City of Kingman from 2016-2018; and as Vice Mayor for the City of Kingman from 2018-2020. He is a past Community Development Advisory Member for the University of Arizona’s Cooperative Extension; is a past member of the University of Arizona’s Tech Launch Arizona Commercialization Network; and is a current member of the national WaterNow Alliance.

He has served as Legislative Liaison & Special Projects Manager; Director of Economic Development; and Director of Procurement for the County of Mohave, AZ; and as a Senior Procurement Officer for the City of Tucson, AZ.

During his professional service with the County of Mohave, Arizona, Travis and staff successfully located Western Wind Energy’s $28m wind turbine/solar project outside of Kingman; JM Eagle and ISCO Industries at the Kingman Industrial Park; Henderson Trucking; and the Topock 66 Resort project located on the Arizona-California border along the Colorado River. He received a NACo Achievement Award for an innovative 'NxLevel for Entrepreneurs' small business training program in 2012; and was a recipient of the National Procurement Institute's Achievement of Excellence in Procurement Award, 2005-2010.

While Travis was with the City of Tucson, he was responsible for procurement of all architectural, engineering, and construction services contracts for the Department of Transportation, as well as several high-profile projects for the Rio Nuevo office in downtown Tucson, including the Pennington Street Garage Project (Tucson's first design-build project, first ‘green building’ project; first public-private project; and first multiple-use project); the Downtown Intermodal Depot at Toole Project; the Southern Arizona Transportation Museum Project; and the Congress Street Revitalization Master Plan Project.

He currently owns and operates a vitamin company, which manufactures and sells The Right C® in brick-and-mortar and online nutrition stores across the United States; and Intermountain West Solutions, LLC, a private economic development and procurement consulting firm. His family also proudly owns and operates Alzheimer’s, Behavioral health, and skilled nursing facilities in the county.

His interests include community, economic & workforce development, infrastructure development, the arts, exercise, hiking, traveling, and spending time with his family. I
