No Permit required: 0-99 cubic yards – Grading in an isolated, self-contained area, provided there is no danger to the public, is less than 99 cubic yards and when such grading will not adversely affect adjoining properties.

Regular Grading Permit required: 100-4999 cubic yards – Application, Plot Plan, and Two (2) sets of plans showing cut/fill and flow, three (3) sets if located in the Strip

Engineered Grading Permit required: 5000 and more cubic yards – Application, plot plan, three (3) sets of engineered plans, and an engineered grading assurance required.
Note: The Mohave County Building Division may request engineered plans on any size grading project, if deemed necessary; when it determines that special conditions or unusual hazards exist.

Mohave County Development Services accepts all forms of payment: cash, check, cashiers check, or money order. Credit cards are now accepted. (transaction fees apply)
