The Mohave County Flood Control District is part of National Flood Insurance Program’s (NFIP’s) Community Rating System. Mohave County is currently at a Class 6 rating. With the Class 6 rating, Mohave County residents may receive up to a 20% discount on their flood insurance premiums.
This rating has been achieved, in part, by providing services such as service calls, which are on-site visits to provide information on self-mitigation and prevention options, as well as advice on options available to help residents financially.
