Incentives are a way of supporting new business growth in Arizona and local businesses in expanding. The Arizona Commerce Authority oversees the following incentive programs.
Quality Jobs
The primary goal of the Quality Jobs tax credit is to encourage business investment and the creation of high-quality employment opportunities in the state. Quality Jobs accomplishes this goal by providing tax credits to employers creating a minimum number of net new qualifying jobs and making a minimum capital investment in Arizona.

Qualified Facility
The Qualified Facility tax credit to promote the location and expansion of headquarters facilities or manufacturing facilities, including manufacturing-related research & development.

Research and Development
The Research and Development (R&D) incentive provides an Arizona income tax credit for increased research and development activities conducted in this state, including research conducted at a state university and funded by the company.

Work Opportunity Tax Credit
The Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) is a federal tax credit of up to $9,000 over three years that Congress provides to private-sector businesses for hiring individuals from nine target groups who have consistently faced significant barriers to employment.

One-stop-shop for business support. Coordination from the economic development department team with all county departments. Support with recruitment, job fairs, and collection and review of applications through Arizona@Work. Clothing and equipment for qualified employees through Arizona@Work. Training created for your company through Mohave Community College with specific qualifications. Intern and apprenticeship programs through educational institutions and Arizona@Work.
