From entrepreneurs to start ups, the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is ready to assist. The SBDC is hosted by and located on the Mohave Community College campus. The SBDC offers start up assistance, business planning, marketing and research, business management and access to capital.
Created through the collective will of diverse sectors and communities across the state, Education Forward Arizona seeks to change the way people see and support education as the key driver to improving the economy and the quality of life in Arizona. Mohave County has strong partnerships with the Achieve60AZ program Education Forward Arizona hosts. The program was created to support the Governors indicative to have 60% of the population 24 – 64 with at least a certificate or higher education level leading to higher paying jobs.
Local First provides programs for communities in sustaining and growing. Grants, food programs for growers and marketing, environmental, research and studies, and educational events are only a small part of the Local First programs offered.

Partnering with higher education will provide a streamlined plan to focus on preparing a workforce for today’s rapidly changing technical landscape. Curriculums can be created or adjusted specifically to your company's needs, helping to train current employees and have a pipeline of trained workforce.
