Candidates running for county offices, school districts and community college districts must complete and file this statement with the appropriate filing officer before collecting any Nomination Petition signatures. May be faxed with candidates signature to (928) 718-4956, or emailed as a PDF
"A statement of interest is not required for candidates for special taxing districts established pursuant to title 48, [or] candidates for precinct committeeman...." [A.R.S. 16-311(H), 16-341(I); EPM p. 121]
At the time of filing the Statement of Interest candidates should provide Elections with contact information in the event an urgent situation arises requiring the candidate be contacted immediately. This information is confidential; for Elections use Only.
Any candidate or committee having contributions or expenditures, in any combination, of $1,400 or more must file this statement with the filing officer within 10 days of reaching that amount. May be faxed with candidates signature to (928) 718-4956, or emailed as a PDF.
