Online Nomination Petition Signatures
E-Qual Online Nomination Petition Signatures for County Candidates
Mohave County offers candidates for County Offices, Justice of the Peace, and Constables the option to gather nomination petition signatures online through the Secretary of State’s secure portal.
Using E-Qual for nomination petition signatures is not available on the county level for Precinct Committeemen, Superior Court Judges, Clerk of the Superior Court, School District Boards, Community College Governing Boards, or Special Districts Boards.
A candidate can collect the minimum number of signatures required through E-Qual. A candidate may gather more than the minimum number of signatures required for that office by using the existing hard copy nomination petition process.
After the candidate has collected the minimum number of signatures online, they must print those nomination petitions off the E-Qual website and bring them into the Elections Office with any other circulated nomination petitions during the appropriate filing period.
Mohave County requires online petitions to be printed and submitted to the Elections Office during the filing period. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ONLINE PETITIONS TO BE SUBMITTED ELECTRONICALLY.
If after electronically signing a petition in E-Qual, a voter wants to withdraw their signature, they must contact the Elections Department.
