Online Nomination Petition Signatures
E-Qual Online Nomination Petition Signatures for County Candidates
Mohave County offers candidates for county level offices, Superior Court Judges, Clerk of the Superior Court, Justice of the Peace, and Constables the option to gather nomination petition signatures online through the Secretary of State’s secure portal.
Using E-Qual for nomination petition signatures is not available for Precinct Committeemen, School District Boards, Community College Governing Boards, or Special Districts Boards.
Candidates running for county level offices, Justice of the Peace or Constable can collect up to 10% more than the minimum number of signatures required through E-Qual.
Candidates running for Superior Court Judge or Clerk of the Superior Court can collect up to 25% more than the minimum number of signatures required through E-Qual.
A candidate may gather additional signatures by using the existing hard copy nomination petition process.
After the candidate has collected signatures online, they must print those nomination petitions off the E-Qual website and bring them into the Elections Office with any other circulated nomination petitions during the appropriate filing period. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ONLINE PETITIONS TO BE SUBMITTED ELECTRONICALLY.
If after electronically signing a petition in E-Qual, a voter wants to withdraw their signature, they must contact the Elections Department before the end of the filing period.
