Our Mission: To promote, protect, and improve the health of our communities. 


The Administration Division is responsible for leading department efforts to improve health outcomes and prevent disease. To accomplish this, we must coordinate and collaborate with local health system partners to ensure services are provided in the most effective and efficient manner. Administration acts as the liaison between local, county, state, and federal partners, and provides administrative support to all MCDPH programs. Support includes fiscal oversight of programs, payroll, assistance with personnel issues, workforce development, and planning and implementing strategies to meet community health needs.

Also included in the Administration Division are Vital Records and the Public Health Emergency Preparedness programs. Information about these services can be obtained by clicking the appropriate link on the left side of the screen.
