WIC - Women, Infants and Children
Women, Infants and Children (WIC) is a federally funded program providing residents with nutritious foods, one-on-one nutrition education and referrals. WIC serves pregnant women, breastfeeding and postpartum women, infants, and children under age five who meet WIC eligibility guidelines.
All WIC Income Eligibility Guidelines are based on GROSS income, meaning before taxes or other deductions.

How to Become a Client
Please contact your local WIC clinic to set up an appointment. We are open Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. – noon.

What to Bring to Your WIC Appointment
- Proof of income (paycheck, tax return, letter from employer) for all adults in the household.
- Proof of AHCCCS, TANF, SNAP (Food Stamps) participation may also be used.
- Proof of residency and identity (driver's license, utility bill, official identification).
Peer Counseling Program
For Breastfeeding Women and Pregnant Women Who Want to Breastfeed
Each clinic in Mohave County has trained peer counselors who will work with women on the WIC program to ensure successful breastfeeding. Support includes classes, one-on-one problem solving, and an electric pump program. Board-certified lactation consultant on staff.
