County General Plan Meeting Wednesday, September 25 in Kingman & Thursday, September 26 in Wikieup

Mohave County is looking for valuable input and comments from county residents on its 2025 General Plan Update. A workshop is being held tomorrow (Wednesday, September 25, 2024) in the County’s Administration Building Auditorium, 700 W Beale St in Kingman at 6pm.

On Thursday, September 26, 2024, the same topic will be discussed seeking the public’s input in Wikieup at the Owens Elementary School, 14109 E. Chicken Springs Road.

The meetings will provide background on the General Plan and then allow for public comments and questions regarding changes they would like to see in the update. Staff will start with a power point presentation, and then open it up for comments at the conclusion of the presentation. There will be maps and comment cards at the meetings to provide comments, and the public can always submit comments through the county’s website.

This will give residents the opportunity to participate in this important blueprint for the future. It will be hosted by the County’s Development Services Department. The workshop seeks public comment focusing on attainable goals for future development throughout the county. Ideas and all matter of input can be valuable. Everyone is urged to attend.
