General Election Information From Recorder’s Office

As October begins, County Recorder, Lydia Durst and her team are being questioned by numerous callers regarding deadlines for the 2024 General Election (Tuesday, November 5^th, 2024.) Here are the answers to the most pertinent questions.

All registered voters are eligible to vote in the 2024 General Election. However, to be eligible, individuals must register by Monday, October 7^th, 2024. To register in person, please visit the Mohave County Recorder’s Office located at 700 W. Beale St. in Kingman Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. Registration to vote can also take place online at www.azmvdnow.gov.

Election mail cannot be forwarded. If there are changes to a residential or mailing address, contact the recorder’s office at (928) 753-0767 or visit www.azmvdnow.gov by October 7^th, 2024 to update registration.

Ballots will be mailed to voters who have requested an early ballot on October 9^th, 2024. Mail ballots can be returned by placing a signed affidavit in the mail or depositing it in a ballot box at the Mohave County Administration Building, 700 W. Beale St, Kingman or at an early voting site during hours of operation.

Voting can be done early in person beginning Wednesday, October 9^th, 2024, at the three county library locations until Friday November 1^st, 2024. The early voting sites will be open Monday through Friday from 10:00am to 4:00pm. On the last day of early voting, November 1^st, the voting sites will be open until 7:00pm. The libraries are at 1770 McCulloch Blvd N, Lake Havasu City; 1170 Hancock Rd, Bullhead City; and 3269 N Burbank St, Kingman
