Mohave County Northern Avenue Roadway Improvement Project Underway

The Arizona Department of Transportation, in partnership with the Western Arizona Council of Governments and Mohave County, advises motorists to plan on ongoing daytime lane restrictions and brief travel delays on Northern Avenue between Stockton Hill and Castle Rock roads, as work is going on with a road-improvement project.

Construction is taking place on the northern segment of Northern Avenue between Stockton Hill Road and Glen Road from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays now through Tuesday, April 1:

• Northern Avenue will be narrowed to one lane in each direction within the work zone. 
• Drivers should be prepared to slow down and expect brief delays.
• Business access will be maintained while the restrictions are in place.

The work will include removing and replacing the existing driveways and pouring concrete sidewalks.
