Mohave County Weather Alert - Winter Storm Watch

There is a Winter Storm Watch in effect from 11:00 p.m. Sunday 1-26-2025 until 11:00 a.m. Tuesday 1-28-2025. The watch includes possible heavy snow accumulations that can be between 4 and 6 inches above 7000 feet and between 2 and 4 inches above 4000 feet. There is a slightly lower chance of 3+ inches of snow in the Colorado City area.

Storm impacts include adverse road condition due to snow-covered roads and icy conditions that can delay travel time and increase the possibility for incidents on the roadways.  Specific areas of concern within Mohave County are Interstate 40 east of Kingman, Route 66 through Peach Springs, roads in the Hualapai Mountains and in the Colorado City area.  

Please continue to monitor weather conditions and only utilize roads that allow for safe travel.
