Spurlock Appointed Mohave County AACo Representative

Jeanne Kentch has left her position as the Mohave County Arizona Association of County Officers (AACo) representative due to her new appointment to the AACo board as 2nd Vice Chairman. Christina Spurlock, the Mohave County Clerk of Superior Court has accepted replacing Kentch in her former position.

The Arizona Association of Counties (AACo) is a non-profit organization that represents all of the county officials and the governments they serve in the State of Arizona. An AACo representative functions as part of a network that advocates for the interests of county governments at the state and federal levels. Each group of elected officials and each county have a representative appointed. AACo reports that "these representatives work collaboratively to ensure that Arizona’s counties can effectively serve their communities."

Spurlock said, "being appointed as a representative will allow me to participate in the legislative process more closely, and relay information to other county officials. I have always found the legislative process to be interesting and important and look forward to serving as Mohave County’s representative."

Kentch adds, "congratulations goes to Christina; I look forward to working with her this legislative season and beyond."
