Wecom Announces One Day Outage on September 26

Wecom has issued this important message to all tv customers in Lake Havasu City and Desert Hills receiving their television signal from the Goat Hill transmitter site. There will be a scheduled outage of all TV networks with the exception of Fox KUTP-45 and Channel 10.2 beginning on September 26, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. until approximately 5:00 p.m.  

This is required to upgrade the electric service for the TV signal expansion and improvement for the area expected to take place by 2025. This outage may last up to 8 hours before the power to all the transmitters is restored.

Individuals should not scan the television during this time as the signal will spontaneously return upon the reactivation of the commercial power to the transmitter site.
